Day 6 – Mediterranean Turkey Burgers

Workout: Yoga Fix

Shakeology: Chocolate Bee
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup Almond milk
1 tsp raw honey

1 lb ground turkey
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons dried basil, crushed
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup whole grain bread crumbs
1/2 cup skim milk
1 egg

Gently combine all ingredients, do not over mix. In a skillet over medium heat, brown in olive oil or grill burgers. Serve in whole grain pita bread with slice of mozzarella cheese, if desired. Add tomatoes and lettuce, if desired. Serve with cucumbers.
